amazing number
Well I say! My blog had received a record of about 98 visitors yesterday.
Of late, I have neglected Firefox and been using Maxthon heavily. Noted that Firefox tended to get a bit sluggish after having a few tabs opened up.
By the way, going off on a tangent from the intended topic, New Sanhedrin seeks a King for Israel. Sad but something the brethen in Yeshua (Jesus) can look forward to as we roll towards the end days.

I thought it was Maxthon which has that tendency(?);)
Anyway with my darn slow connection of barely 20KB/sec these days, I can't really say.
OT also, noting your love for a good Pacman, try this Deluxe Pacman? I think it's good(& not too large, just a 1.8 MB download and will run on XP too), and it's a freebie : http://home.cogeco.ca/~nroy15/games_index.html

Thanks for the pacman link. Hmm, have you noted Maxthon to be more sluggish than Firefox with a few tabs opened up? To date I have been using Maxthon for almost a month but am getting itchy feet to switch to Firefox for some odd reason. I like both. email-wise, I am using Thunderbird and loving it.

"...Firefox tended to get a bit sluggish after having a few tabs opened up."
Actually I suspect that all the IE based browsers seem to be sometimes like that too. But then again even Moz-based Browsers too become sluggish too sometimes ;). However I like the the better page refresh thing of the later....without having to have to more often resort to clearing the browsing cache. It might be also related to own PC condition at any given time as well.
Now am back to 50+ KB/sec dial-up speed, everything seems okay though.

Thunderbird Mail is a great one. To start with, esp. if you migrate from another. It's stable, the last ime I used it until my PC suffered a MB crash and I lost everything. Since than I've been using FireFox 5 which is smaller and quite satisfied with it. Perhaps you may try that and tell us your findings(?). It embeds sound too.

Yes I have tried Foxmail and did not like it as I found its user interface a little too primitive in terms of looks and usability. I am seriously loving Thunderbird and have not once wanted to switch back to outlook express since using it late 2004. As for browsers, I'm back to using Firefox at the moment! This is really crazy, switching almost monthly!

Meantime I recall coming across a small prog that covers the Ads column in the current free Opera. But I didn't take note. Will tell ya if I see that again.
Maxthon acted up, I switched back to the latest Avant v10, build 121 . (Methinks Avant is always a mite more more stable). The Menu in words in Maxthon sudden disappeared and I couldn't bring it back.
Thunderbird is great, no doubt but I've tamed and am thoroughly acquainted with OE 6. 'Em potential virus ain't getting any foothold there, no way.
cheers,

Yes it would be most excellent to be rid of the ads on Opera without needing to purchase it. I believe Mr Rajan R has such an Opera version, an unpaid one.
